Live to Train, or Train to Live...
Growing up, I was very inactive. I participated, but never pushed myself to win. I did what was required of me in the athletic and recreation aspects of school and life, but as soon as it was not longer required, I no longer participated. I was out of shape, a little on the chubby side, self-conscious and a bookworm. Then, on a whim one day, I decided to visit a gym. I walked in the front door and was greeting with a warm and friendly smile. I signed up that day. Looking back, I still don't know what made me decide to walk into the gym that afternoon, and I really don't know what convinced me to sign-up, but what I do know is that I do not regret it at all.
Seven years later, here I am! Working out on a daily basis, eating healthy (for the most part), playing ice hockey, hiking, participating in my first fitness competition and enjoying every minute of it. I'm still self-conscious at times and still enjoy a good book, but, not to the degree that I was. Fitness has benefited me in so many ways both mentally and physically, and now I want to teach others to benefit from it as much as I did.Fitness is not something you squeeze into your schedule, it's not something you do because you have to, and it's not something that should make you feel guilty if your not doing it. Well actually, to a lot of people, it is all of these things.
My goal, is to develop Fitness for you in a way that fits you as an individual. I want health and fitness to fit your lifestyle, your thoughts, your perceptions and your body in the way that will guarantee results, and be enjoyable at the same time.
Difficult to do? Yes. Impossible? No.
I will hear what you tell me, I will work with you through your fears and I will push you to your limit!
Fitness will develop as part of your life, a necessary extension of your physical and mental well-being. I want you to enjoy the experience and take from it strength and confidence!
